5-Ingredient High Protein Chocolate Mousse

Cottage cheese really is the chameleon of cooking because it can morph into so many different yummy recipes! One of my favorite things when it comes to cooking is being able to combine simple, high protein ingredients into yummy desserts… and this high protein chocolate mousse checks that box! It comes together super quickly and tastes very yummy!

5-Ingredient High Protein Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
low fat cottage cheese
cacao powder
maple syrup
dark chocolate chips
coconut oil
flaky sea salt
Instructions:
Add the following ingredients into the food processor:
1 cup of cottage cheese (28g protein)
2 tbsp cacao powder (2g protein)
3 tbsp maple syrup
Add about 1/8 cup of dark chocolate chips and 1/2 tbsp coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl. Add to the microwave in 30 second increments until melted, and use a spoon to combine together until you have melted chocolate.
Add chocolate “mousse” onto a container, cover with melted chocolate, and a little bit of flaky sea salt.
Refrigerate for 10-20 min, break into chocolate shell and enjoy!
