Cookie Dough Energy Balls
Literally tastes like cookie dough and each energy ball is packed with 9g protein!!

I’m a big fan of meal prepping energy balls as a way to save yourself time during the week when you need a quick pick me up snack in between meals!
I decided to create a recipe that tastes like a treat, is packed with protein and balanced… and it turned out sooo good!

Cookie Dough Energy Balls

Ingredients
1 ripe banana
Gluten free quick cooking oats
Walnuts
Chia seeds
Creamy almond butter (or peanut butter)
Vanilla isolate protein (I use BeWell by Kelly)
Honey
Sea salt
Ceylon cinnamon
Dark chocolate chips
Coconut oil
Instructions:
Add the following ingredients to a food processor :
1 mashed ripe banana (1/2 cup)
2 cups gluten free rolled oats (24g protein)
1/3 cup creamy almond butter (~21g protein)
2 tbsp chia seeds (4g protein)
1/2 cup walnuts (9g protein)
1/4 cup honey
2 scoops vanilla isolate protein or 1/4 cup vanilla isolate protein (46g protein)
sprinkle of sea salt
lots of cinnamon
Mix together in the food processor or blender, adding each ingredient little by little to prevent the appliance from going into overdrive (lol!)
Add a little coconut oil to your hands and spoon a little bit of the mix at a time; roll into 12 balls.
Add 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips and 1/2 tbsp coconut oil to a bowl. Microwave in 30 second increment s until fully melted. Use a spoon to stir together and combine.
Use a spoon or fork to drizzle dark chocolate over energy balls.
Refrigerate for at least 20-30 minutes and enjoy!!
TOTAL PROTEIN: 104g protein
PER BALL: ~9g protein
Keep the energy balls stored in refrigerator! They will last 1 week in the fridge. I hope that you make this and enjoy this fiber-packed snack :)
