Gluten Free, Dairy Free & Nut Free!
Prepping homemade meatballs is one of my favorite protein hacks! In just one go, with one pound of ground turkey, you can make 12 meatballs, which can be used across 4 different meals to give you 30g protein per meal!
A lot of meatball recipes aren’t gluten free because they use breadcrumbs, but lucky for all my fellow gluten free queens and kings… I got you with this recipe and I PROMISE it tastes just as good, if not better ;)
This is great to make during your meal preps, or early on in the week so it lasts you throughout the week AND saves you time with your lunches and dinners.
The ingredient list and recipe are below!
Gluten Free Turkey Meatballs
Ingredients
1 pack 93% lean ground turkey
gluten free quick cooking rolled oats
pasture raised eggs
minced garlic
worcestershire sauce
oregano
salt
pepper
extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F.
Add 1/2 cup of gluten free oats to a blender or food processor to make a gluten free flour.
Into a mixing bowl, add the following ingredients:
1lb ground turkey (120g protein)
1/2 cup blended GF oats (6g protein)
1 pasture raised egg (6g protein)
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Add aluminum foil or parchment paper to a baking tray, and add olive oil or olive oil spray.
Add olive oil to your hands and roll turkey meatballs. You might have to wash your hands, dry and re-oil them 2-4x to ensure you can continue to properly roll the mix into meatballs without them sticking to your hands.
Bake @400F for 25 min
Total protein: 132g protein.
Makes 12 meatballs, 11g protein per meatball.
I usually add 2 meatballs to my meals to give me 33g protein, and there are SO many ways you can use them – some examples of pairings below:
Hummus, roasted cabbage, green beans and baby potatoes
Green goddess salad
Quinoa with creamy sauce, feta and roasted veggies

I hope this helps you hit your protein goals! If you try this recipe out, share your creations in our group chat and feel free to drop any questions below :)
