Healthy Caramelized Sweet Potatoes
A go-to sweet potato recipe for sides or to bring to dinner parties!
I am a big fan of sweet potato. It’s so versatile and great in so many dishes, but it’s also just a delicious side! This easy recipe is a staple for me, and it’s also great to integrate into meal preps!

Healthy Caramelized Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
4 sweet potatoes
Seasonings
maple syrup
extra virgin olive oil
cinnamon
garlic powder
salt
pepper
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F.
Chop 4 sweet potatoes into quarters (also optional to use as many potatoes as you want).
Add to baking tray with parchment paper.
Season with olive oil, salt, pepper, lots of cinnamon, garlic powder and a drizzle of maple syrup (enough to coat them but not too much, about 2-3 tbsp).
Mix it in with your hands.
Bake at 400F for 30-40 min, until soft in the middle but caramelized on the outside.
Option to add dried cranberries, raisins, nuts, chopped mint or parsley, or any other garnish too!
