Key Lime Pie Ninja Swirl
Key lime pie inspired soft serve ice cream; full recipe has 48g protein!
Gluten Free. Includes Dairy & Nuts.
If you’re not familiar with the new Ninja Swirl which launched on Feb 11, it’s essentially a new and improved version of the old Ninja Creami machine. With this dandy machine, you can make homemade ice cream and now also soft serve – so I’ve been getting creative in the kitchen and trying some new fun recipes!
I honestly love the combination of citrus and vanilla, and I was inspired by a key lime pie when ideating for this recipe. This can be enjoyed as a post workout treat that helps you hit your protein goals, or as a healthy dessert! It’s pretty light and refreshing, and not toooo sweet.
PS: You can also make this recipe using the regular ninja creami machine instead.
This recipe makes 2 servings of ~24g protein each :)
